52nd Brazilian Operational Research Symposium

We are pleased to invite researchers, professors, undergraduate and graduate students, company professionals and other interested parties to the 52th Brazilian Symposium on Operations Research (SBPO 2020), which will be held from 3rd November to 5th November 2020.

João Pessoa is known as the “Sun Gate” due to its great location in the easternmost point of the Americas. As the third oldest city in the country, it has a vast historical heritage, a beautiful coastline and extensive areas of Atlantic forest that have already earned the city the title of the greenest Brazilian capital for several years. Despite being a capital, the relative peacefulness in João Pessoa usually impresses visitors from big urban centers.

The event is promoted by the Brazilian Operations Research Society and yearly brings together experts from academia and industry that play a prominent role nationally and internationally.

The SBPO is composed of short-term courses, plenaries, oral technical sessions and posters sessions. The papers presented at SBPO cover the main results of the national research on OR and bring solutions to nowadays challenges of important decision making areas.
